Take a deep dive into the artistic, architectural and culinary and natural wealth of Tuscany during an eight-day tour, featuring six guided tours through painting galleries, buzzing piazzas, cozy wineries and restaurants, and scenic old fishing villages of one of the classic art discovery destinations of Europe.
Arrive in Florence and check into the hotel room
After the breakfast, head to the meeting point for the first walking tour of Florence. Learn about the city’s rich history while visiting some of its highlights: the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery courtyard and the cathedral with the magnificent dome erected by Brunelleschi and the nearby Baptistery. Round off the day with an aperitif at a cafe nearby (transfer to the hotel not included).
After the breakfast, join a guided bus tour of Tuscany that starts at a meeting point close by. Admire the beautiful landscapes, the quaint old towns of Monteriggioni and San Giminiano and breath in the atmosphere of Siena’s famous Piazza del Campo. During lunch at a local restaurant in Siena and a visit to one of the wineries, there will be a chance to taste some of the traditional local pastries and some genuine red Chianti wine.
After breakfast, take part in a guided tour of the Duomo Museum and the baptistery – one of the oldest monuments in Florence.
After breakfast, take a transfer to join a hiking tour across Cinque Terre, starting in Riomaggiore and leading through the famous Via dell’Amore (subject to reopening) and the port town of Manarola to the charming village of Monterosso, where there will be a chance to relax on the beach and have a swim in the sea before boarding a boat to Vernazza.
After breakfast, take part in a guided trip to Pisa, featuring the Piazza del Miracoli, the Baptistery, the famous Leaning Tower and the Cathedral, and then to Lucca, boasting magnificent city walls and many precious monuments such as the Amphitheater, the Guinigi Tower and the Cathedral of San Martín. There will also be a chance to taste a genuine local Buccellato.
After the breakfast, head to the Uffizi Gallery to join a guided tour of one of the most precious Renaissance art collections in the world, featuring masterpieces of Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Giotto, Cimabue, and Masaccio, with a priority admission ticket. After the guided visit, stay at the museum or enjoy leisure time in the city.
After the breakfast, check-out at from the hotel and prepare for the journey back home.
